Job Description:

BlackRock Financial Management Inc. seeks a Vice President, Port Modeling in New York, NY to contribute to the development of the firm’s credit default probability risk models used in portfolio risk management, performance attribution, and portfolio construction. Req’ts: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computational Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing quantitative analysis of financial econometrics utilizing state space modeling, ARMA models, panel regression, robust statistics, principal component analysis and empirical asset pricing; providing statistical analysis of financial markets, including fixed income, credit and derivatives markets; and utilizing statistical software and programming languages including R, SQL, SAS, Matlab, and Microsoft Excel.
