With more than 150 people globally, the Global Credit team has a presence in New York, London, Singapore, Gurgaon and Sydney. Our clients include corporate pension plans, public pension plans, central banks, sovereign wealth funds, other institutional investors and global retail clients.

The Business Management team in New York supports the overall management of the department, including strategic planning, budgeting, reviewing & improving business processes, supporting new products / instruments, liaising with technology & operations departments, and providing key reporting to senior leadership.

The Business Management Associate will report to the Chief Operating Officer for Credit and will be responsible for coordinating and responding to all internal and external requests and acting on behalf of Fixed Income leadership.


Support Credit and Fixed Income management on various initiatives ensuring timely delivery and quality execution of projects in line with management expectations:

  • Business Strategy - establish objectives and focus areas for the business and develop action plans to build the bridge between current and future state

  • Financials – support the management of budget and headcount

  • Technology – collaborate with internal business partners to identify and facilitate technology enhancements which address the evolving needs of the business

  • Strategic Initiatives & New Products - work closely with senior management on key projects, strategic initiatives and new product launches

  • Ad hoc Requests – assist team with data requests, trainings and demos, business continuity efforts, etc.

  • Operational Risk – drive discussions around operating events and process improvements to help mitigate operational risk

  • Policy & Procedures - promote and provide necessary training on firm, business and regulatory policies and procedures

  • Projects - Act as lead on projects for the global fixed income platform that relate to portfolio management, trade and post trade operations, investment process analysis and business process analyses

  • Presentations and Meetings - aid management in organizing and preparing presentations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in financial services with knowledge of fixed income, product development, business strategy and /or business management functions

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field; MBA a plus

  • Progress towards or participation in the CFA program a plus

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Visio a plus

  • A strong understanding of capital markets and fixed income; ability to recognize different issue types and structures as they relate to portfolio management and trading

  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills including ability to function effectively within a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask

  • Proven track record in delivering on major projects

  • Strong financial and quantitative abilities, including attention to detail and affinity for data analysis

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to deliver presentations and coordinate across the firm

  • Sound judgment, professionalism and discretion

  • Ability to function effectively under tight deadlines and constraints
