Business Unit Overview:

CIS provide management and performance fee invoices for institutional separately managed account clients and retail relationships located in the Americas, EMEA and APAC (excluding Japan). CIS are responsible for reviewing fee terms within client agreements, ensuring invoices and internal accruals are raised in line with these agreements and following up with clients to ensure collection of revenue.

Reporting and Distribution Services (RDS) is accountable for all aspects of our clients’ reporting experience, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service.

Both teams are engaged in significant change activity and migration of accounts/client between systems. The projects are large and impact all users within the groups and will result in significant improvement and cost savings across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage a small team and self to reach and exceed project targets set on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

  • Gather and document project requirements

  • Drive change initiatives within the department

  • Build technical ability to be able to assist team with complex issues

  • Communicate instructions to team and internal stakeholders in a clear, concise and constructive manner

  • Coach and mentor team members ensuring team are challenged and motivated to compete deadlines and make improvements

  • Build and manage relationships with key global stakeholders including Technology teams, Client Business, Operations and other Finance ensuring any decisions and process changes are clearly communicated along with their impact

  • •Escalate issues to management and BlackRock risk groups as required

  • Complete and present project metrics to team, senior management, and internal stakeholders

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Prior asset management experience helpful, but not required

  • Candidate must have people management experience (3 years minimum)

  • Must have experience of managing teams through change

  • Prior experience of delivering superior client service

  • Project Management skills required

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

  • Ability to clearly and confidently communicate in verbal and written form

  • Strong sense of personal accountability

  • A forward thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo

  • Must have strong internal and external customer focus

  • Must be a process orientated thinker
