Job Purpose/Background:

As an associate in Total Rewards Operations you will lead the EMEA HR Benefits Operations team and be responsible for the execution of a pro-active and comprehensive support service to internal (HR) and external (business) clients, as well as monitoring employee inquiries for accuracy and timeliness. You will ensure that policies and procedures are applied and followed consistently, focusing on the delivery of best practice at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor management of a range of Benefits vendors across EMEA

  • Management of a range of UK and EMEA-wide benefits arrangements

  • Overseeing regular benefit plan benchmarking and market reviews

  • Liaison with HR Business Partners and other Stakeholders on employee benefits issues

  • Involvement in both Regional and Global Total Reward projects

  • Ensure quality of work produced by the team meets high standards

  • Supporting the Head of Benefits to lead and be involved in key benefits projects throughout the year

Oversee a team that will execute the following responsibilities:

  • Process monthly pension payments (when required)

  • Monitor, track and request monthly payroll payments for the UK and CEMEA (when required)

  • Respond to email enquiries from internal and external stakeholders

  • Monitor the invoice payment process

  • Management of monthly new hire/leave processes for EMEA

Desired Skills:

  • Manage and develop a team of two employees

  • History of identifying issues and improving processes

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • The ability to engage with a range of different stakeholders and to manage multiple vendor relationships

  • Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of current UK and EMEA-wide benefits and pensions legislation

  • A good understanding of delivery of employee benefits within a Total Rewards framework

  • Previous experience of employee benefits within a financial sector environment is preferred but not essential

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding deadlines

Desired Experience:

  • Must have substantial previous experience within a Specialist Employee Benefits role

  • Experience managing a team to deliver high quality work and assisting in their career progression

  • Experience of delivering a range of employee benefits through flexible benefits

  • The ability to manage multiple vendor relationships successfully

  • Good knowledge of design and delivery of employee benefit plans including pensions

  • Benchmarking and undertaking benefit market reviews

  • Using metrics to inform and drive decision-making

  • European benefits preferred
