Description:

Our Product Strategists are a critical component of our investment success. They are investment specialists who play a central role in offering clients and prospects connectivity to the investment process, and transparency to each PM team’s views and investment decisions. We are building a Product Strategy team in Budapest that will serve as the hub of the team’s production of timely and effective marketing collateral, product presentations and responding to client inquiries. Each team member will be aligned with one or more Product Strategy teams and cover a set of investment teams within the Global Fixed Income, Active Equities or Multi-Asset Strategies investment businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Clients

  • Prepare portfolio review decks (Product Strategy Section)
  • Build and support reoccurring reporting templates using BLK technology
  • Assist with ad hoc requests (e.g. performance analytics / attribution, bespoke reporting)

Prospects

  • Maintain product pitchbooks, and other standard marketing collateral (such as factsheets) Submit materials through the central compliance system, and address follow-ups
  • Update/draft RFPs and RFIs Conduct ad hoc data analysis projects to help position fund/strategy
  • Maintain materials in the central content library

Platform

  • Maintain an up to date knowledge on the investment team’s activities and outlook, and competitive positioning across assigned platform

Internal Reporting

  • Gather and report flows and performance
  • Gather and maintain competitor data Build and maintain database reports (Morningstar, eVestment, FactSet)
  • Maintain and send daily internal reports (TFI cheat sheet, fund daily performance, etc.)

Operations

  • Support the continued rollout of centralized processes for PS function
  • Assist with various operational components of designated strategies, including composite maintenance, and other reporting initiatives
  • Experts on BLK technology

You should have

  • BA/BS required
  • Degree in quantitative, finance or economics discipline preferable
  • 1 years of experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Preference for Italian, French, German, and Spanish
  • Strong university references
  • Some professional experience preferred
  • Desire to learn Investment Management industry
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel, with ability to manipulate data in a spreadsheet (knowledge of macros is a plus)
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, with ability to create marketing slides
  • Ability to effectively combine outputs from different sources of technology / systems
